Established in 2022 and registered under the designation KNR/CA/71/2022, Samastha Islamic Center (SIC) Thalasheri stands as a beacon of spiritual and social leadership in the heart of Kerala. Our foundation is built upon the time-honored Sunni–Shafi‘i tradition, serving as a vital link between classical Islamic scholarship and the evolving needs of a modern community. We are guided by the legacy of the Panakkad Thangal family, whose lineage is synonymous with religious guidance, communal harmony, and educational foresight in the Malabar region.

At the core of our mission is the revitalization of the madrasa ecosystem. We believe that a strong educational foundation is the prerequisite for a self-reliant society; therefore, our efforts are heavily invested in strengthening primary and advanced Islamic learning centers. By integrating classical scholarship with contemporary management practices, we ensure that our students are not only well-versed in theology but also equipped with the critical thinking skills required to navigate the complexities of the 21st century.

The organization operates through a dynamic network of committees dedicated to specialized social welfare. Our Relief Cell provides a critical safety net for the marginalized, offering medical assistance and financial support to those in need, while our educational boards oversee the standard of instruction across regional institutions. This structured approach allows us to address community challenges with precision, ensuring that our resources—provided through the generous contributions of our members—are utilized where they are most impactful.

Youth empowerment remains a primary pillar of our institutional strategy. Through the Sunni National Islamic Centre (SNIC) and our student-focused movements, we provide a platform for young leaders to engage in cultural and interfaith dialogue.
